We have an exciting opportunity for a Conference Producer with 12+ months experience to join a rapidly growing team with above market earnings and progression potential.
You will have:
- 12+ months conference production experience and will have already run at least 5 of your own successful B2B conferences
- A structured approach to research, agenda development and speaker confirmation
- Strong topic identification and agenda development skills
- A track record of identifying and securing market leading presenters
- Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
- Developed copywriting skills
- The ability to write clear, targeted sales and marketing briefs
- A good understanding of the industry sectors you have worked in
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial drive
- Articulate, personable and a positive approach to work
- A strong academic background (1st or 2.1 degree)
- Minimum of ABB at A Level and 10+ GCSEs A*-B
Responsibilities:
- Thorough industry research into key trends and topics to develop market leading, commercially successful agendas
- Carry out in-depth telephone research with senior industry professionals
- Identify and secure senior-level presenters who are at the forefront of innovation and achievement
- Develop effective networks and relationships within the industry sectors you are responsible for
- Develop a strong understanding of the buyer-supplier landscape in your sector to maximise each event’s sponsorship potential
- Develop and maintain a thorough database of senior industry executives and the media, trade bodies and competitors in your markets
- Write and present clear, targeted delegate sales and marketing briefs
- Liaise with the Marketing, Delegate and Sponsorship Sales teams to enable successful delivery of your event portfolio
- Travel internationally with the Event Manager and Sales Manager to manage the agenda for your own events
